End of August

We spent some nice, sunny, but cool days at the cabin in late August. Neighbors and family visited and played with us. The swimming wasn't great and the fishing was awful, but we had fun in spite of it all.




My biggest accomplishment was finally getting Mortimer the Moose hung on the wall. Thank you Andrew and Erin for bringing it all the way from Alaska. It really makes the room look complete!


Our first year of cabin ownership is almost complete. We have learned so much, and have so much more to experience. I'll keep writing in here as new, fun, interesting, or devastating events unfold.
